Governor's Message
I hope everyone had a great holiday season at home and at the Lodge. We took great pride in hosting the Nature Coast Council of Higher Degrees board meeting, dinner and installation of officers. Congratulations to Leora Wilson for another term as President. A special thanks to our Brothers and Co-Workers who helped make the event a great success. Please check your calendar for more upcoming events this month. On February 11th we will have a major work party. It is again time to clean out the walk in cooler to do the floors and move the kitchen equipment for a much needed degreasing. Please let me know if you plan to help for this big project. The Lodge elections are coming up in April and the Nominating Committee will be announced at the General Meeting on Feb. 28th. All committee members will be notified as to the date and time of these meetings. I encourage those of you who will accept the responsibility of leadership to step forward and submit your name to the committee. It is a rewarding experience. Thanks to all January District meeting attendees that made sure we did not bring the dreaded "Chicken" back to our Lodge. The next District Meeting is on Sunday Feb. 12th right here at Interbay 912. We should have a big turnout. Again I Thank all of you that do the work to make sure we fulfill our responsibilitys to Mooseheart and Moosehaven.

Administrator's Message
We are now in the final quarter of this fiscal year. At this time our membership roll is at 345. That is a decrease of 16 members since May 1, 2011. We still need to sign or resign 18 new or former members to achieve our membership quota. These are all mandatory criteria to receive the Premier Lodge Award. Retention is a valuable tool for use in maintaining and increasing our membership roll. The arrears list is posted over the glass case in the foyer. If you know someone on this list, please contact them and show your interest in retaining them as members. It is the duty and obligation of all members to increase our "Defending Circle". You will also receive the appropriate membership campaign awards from both the Florida Bermuda Moose Association and Moose International.

MOOSE LEGION
Hello brothers.
I am pleased to announce some exciting news from the Moose Legion Committee. Effective immediately and ending April 30, 2012, not only will prospective new Interbay #912 Moose Legion candidates have their application fee waived, but the MLC will pay half of your first years dues. That is a whopping $8.50 savings for prospective new and former members. So, as you can see there is no better time to step up to the next degree of service and join in all the fun and fellowship. Please see me or any other Moose Legion Committee member for details and an application.
Please take note that the "Now world famous - all you can eat fish fry" will be held Friday February 17th from 6:00p.m. until 7:30p.m. So bring your family and friends to enjoy this great meal and remember the cost is only $8.00 per person. Truly the best deal in South Tampa.
Thanks to all the fantastic Moose Legion Committee members who have been attending our monthly meetings. Our next MLC meeting will be held Wednesday February 1st at 7:30p.m.
Also, remember that Moose Legion Committee Apprection Night is held every Wednesday night. However, you must be a committee member to take advantage of the drink savings.
