BSA TROOP 219 Summer Camp on the St. Johns River
In this the 100th anniversary year of the boy Scouts of America, BSA Troop 219, sponsored by Interbay Tampa 912, went to day summer camp from June 27th to july 2nd at Camp Echockotee on the St. Johns River. At camp the scouts earned a combined total of 4 merit badges and partial credit for 5 others, which will be completed in Tampa. Moosehaven graciously provided overnight accommodations and meals for all at Buckeye Hall. Many thanks to Marina Matthews, who coordinated our arrangements and to moosehaven Director John Capes for their support. Also Thank You to all our new friends at Buckeye Hall.

LOOM and WOTM Work Party
The work parties have been replaced with work projects. If you have a project you would like to get done in the Lodge, get your crew together and talk to one of the Officers about a good time to get it done and put it on the Chart. Let's all work together to make our Lodge the best it can be!

Moose - of - the - Month August 8th District Meeting Attendees
Continuing the past two month tradition, the Board of Officers have selected all August 8th District meeting attendees as Moose of the Month. We had a total of 35 LOOM, WOTM, & guests attend the meeting. This was our 2nd consective month with 'NO CHICKEN'. Thank you to all for attending. The designated parking space will be available on afirst come first served basis. We hope to see you all and a few more at the next District meeting held at Riverview Lodge 2158 on Sunday September 12th at 1p.m.

BACK TO SCHOOL BINGO
I wanted to thank everyone who donated for the Back to School Bingo. We had a great turn out. All the children received a back pack with the following supplies: book cover, 3 prong folder, hard cover notebook, carry all pouch, spiral notebook, filler paper, 2 regular folders, glue, highlighter, ruler, color pencils, regular pencils, ink pens, crayons, pencil sharpener, erasers and tape. We had 4 Bingo winners and their back packs contained some extras such as scissors, whiteout, calculator and much more. I also want to give special thanks to Stephanie for her help and Sandy for doing the number calling. Everyone had a Great time!

Nature's Coast Council of Higher Degrees
The next meeting for the Council is September 18, 2010 at the New Port Richey Lodge. Cost of lunch is $7.00, At 1p.m. with meeting to follow at 2p.m.. Plese bring school supplies or give to me for September meeting to be sent to Mooseheart for our Sunshine child. Election for Jan. 2011 year at this meeting. Come out and vote! Hope to see you there!
