USO Night
We will have a 17 piece big band and will be honoring all military members!!! Come join us as we go back to WWII, with costumes and all!!!
On Saturday November 13th, we are planning a "USO Night". We will have a 17 piece big band, playing in full tuxedo, and a fabulous menu including prime rib or salmon. This celebration will be to honor all of our military, be they active duty or retired. Please mark the date in your diaries and plan to join us to honor the men and women who have done so much for us and our country. We are still working out some of the details, but if you are or have been military, please proudly wear any and all of your ribbons. Our theme will be based on the U.S.O. dances of WWII. We hope to have a cigarette girl (although without tobacco!) and to dress the servers in WAC uniforms. If you have any ideas about decorating, games, prizes, etc. please contact me at (813) 363-8362. Some of the proceeds will go to support the USO, an organization that still does much to support our troops. We hope to have the seating plan and tickets available at the start of October. I look forward to an evening of fun, and for some, an evening of nostalgia.
