JR. REGENT'S MESSAGE
I want to thank everyone that helped in the kitchen on Friday nights. It makes such a big difference to those that help all the time to have new volunteers, so that people can take a break.
We need help in the kitchen ladies. We have over 300 Chapter members but it is always the same 3 to 5 people that do all the work. I hear a lot of complaints but not a lot of people are stepping up to help make a difference.
Each and every lady that has joined signed a vow on the back of her application: "If elected into membership, I promise to fulfill my two primary obligations of 1) increasing the strength of the Order by proposing for membership qualified individuals of high personal character and 2) giving of my energy and substance in support of Mooseheart and Moosehaven..."
Please take a moment to reread your vow and also to realize we are a Chapter of VOLUNTEERS! Everything we do is done by a volunteer. A portion of everything we do goes to support Mooseheart and Moosehaven. If we do not have help we will be unable to continue these activities and dinners.
We need ladies to step up and take officer positions. Both Chaplain & Senior Regent are vacant. We need to have all positions filled in order to run the Chapter efficiently.
